Welcome
to the Dakota Ultrasonics firmware upgrade area. The downloads
listed below include both bug fixes and product enhancements.
The links below contain a flash program, howto flash
documentation, and the zip files containing the .mot firmware
upgrade file. Download the files to
your desktop, or directory. Unzip the files, install the flash
software on your PC, read the documentation, and flash your
gauge with the new firmware.
For saftey purposes, we will continue to keep older firmware
versions available on this page. This will enable the user the ability
to go back to a previous version if necessary. Our goal is to continue
to improve the features and functionality of our products for our existing
customers.

Important
Note (Please Read Carefully)--
There are now two versions of firmware available
for download. The MINIfirmUpgrade.zip version
is for users with versions prior to release 1.2.
This is the original 4 foot maximum bolt length
version
of firmware and original EPLD. This is the only
version that will work with versions prior to
1.2.
Do not attempt to flash the MiniMax with version
2.1, it won't work! The newer release 2.1 extends
the maximum bolt length to 8 feet.
Users with version 2.0 and higher can take advantage
of this upgrade only.
We can upgrade your older version gauges for
the 8 feet bolt length. However, this will require
that your gauge is sent to Dakota. It cannot
be done in the field. The user will be responsible
to pay a set ugrade fee and all shipping costs
associated with the transportation. Please contact
Dakota for additional information.
